Library Family Concert

Join us on the Roof as Durham County Library presents a family-friendly concert with Marsha Goodman Wood of Marsha and the Positrons fame! Marsha will be singing science-based songs, including classics “Hey Pluto” and “Why Can’t You Dance on Jupiter” plus all-star alphabet tune “Alien in an Ambulance.”


Stop by the coffee shop for coffee, juice and treats before you head up to the Roof or join us following the performance for lunch!

Marsha Goodman Wood

Marsha is a songwriter, singer, guitarist, former cognitive neuroscientist and the bandleader for Marsha and the Positrons, a popular kindie-rock band in the DC area. Marsha and the Positrons play fun, positive songs about science & how the world works, with shows that are playful, educational, and entertaining for kids and grown-ups too.
