The Roof at The Durham is a year-round gathering spot for delicious, original food & beverage and unbeatable panoramic downtown views. You’ll find seasonal cocktails, a thoughtful craft beer list, and a collection of natural wine from small family producers, as well as a stylish raw bar focusing on NC shellfish and an evolving menu of shareable small plates like Durham nachos and a hickory-smoked carrot dog, farmers’ market salads and assortments of snacks.
Visitors and locals mingle on the Roof for nights of collaborative jazz, rock shows, photography exhibits, DJ dance parties, guided stargazing and birdwatching, holiday sing-a-longs, and tap takeovers with NC breweries. The Roof is enclosed and fully heated in cooler months when our cozy lounge seating is decked out with Pendleton blankets and the kitchen dishes up mugs of warm soups and griddled sandwiches.
